Shoes...

Now I will have to hold my hands up on this subject...you see, for years & years I never had access to shoes that I could squeeze my feet into [...not sure access is the right word, but you know what I mean !!!]....I never had the bottle to buy any & my girlfriend was a size 6, so apart from the odd pair of strappy sandals, they were of no use to me......Now my girlfriend has hundreds of shoes, and that's not a lie.....and I would constantly moan that she had far too many & couldn't possibly need any more [ looking back I'm guessing that I was just jealous !!! ]....Well to cut a long story short, thanks to the ease of internet shopping, and the wonder of ebay, I have now started to buy my very own shoes...and I must say, shoe shopping is a very addictive hobby....my girlfriend is even buying me shoes now !!!

The average bloke can quite comfortably go through life with just a couple of pairs of shoes in his wardrobe..... .a girl can never have enough shoes.

Acting...

Some people may say that most of my life has been an act...but that's another story. I have been known to do a bit of board treading...and jolly good fun it is to. In fact I've not done any acting for far too long now. My girlfriend, who is also a bit of a board treader, has commented that all the best parts go to men. Which I must say, I entirely agree with....But, If the men get all the best parts...then it has to be said that the women get all the best costumes to wear!!!

Music...

This really should be in two sections...Music I like to listen to & music I attempt to play myself....it's basically the same sort of music, but one sounds totally different to the other!!!....my excuse being...when you've grown your finger nails to a nice length, the guitar can be a right bitch to play [ that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it !!! ]...I'm pretty sure that Jimi Hendrex didn't have long finger nails???

...Current fav is all a little strange (I'll explain....)...The albums I've bought recently areKasabian (cross between Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, James, and Jesus & Mary Chain), Keane (actually bought a while ago, but still amazing), Killers, Kings of Leon, and the Kaiser Chiefs...You wait years for a decent band beginning with 'K', and then ZAP!!! you end up with 5 new ones in a year...Maybe I've deprived myself of a Kylie album for way too long???

...Still playing the new U2 album 'cus I'm still a U2 anorak, and I've been playing a lot of their early stuff recently (I told you I was a bit of an anorak...)...

Cocktails...

It says cocktails, but to be honest I'm not that fussy...as long as it's alcoholic & makes me merry then I'm as happy as Larry...or should that be Sally???...Cocktails are rather fun though...cherries & swizzle-sticks....it's a drink with added frills.

...100 things to do before you die...No35. Buy yourself some Tequila, Champagne [or sparkly wine...], invite friends over, sit round a fairly solid table, and try Tequila slammers...

Arty-farty stuff ...

I've discovered over the years, that lots of people struggle to understand others unless they can label them, or put them into a nice little pigeon hole [ not sure if ' pigeon hole ' is commonly known around the globe ??? ]...and people tend to use the same label or pigeon hole for far too many things. For example...a common mislabelling or badly holed pigeon would be...Transvestite, Transsexual, Gay, Drag Queen, Fetishist...all completely different issues, but often labelled as the same...I could go on & on but I don't want this to turn into some sort of dissertation [ I've written one of them before and they're not pleasant ]...I'm guessing the point I'm trying to make, is that the term Transvestite is often misunderstood & people often make assumptions...Which is very similar to the term Artist, which I also happen to be [ an artist & a transvestite...how bohemian can it get !!! ]

...I won't bore you with all my artistic likes & dislikes, I'll simply say....a bit left side of modern - well away from chocolate-box watercolours - construction sculpture - turner prize, rant, rant, aaagh - pre-Raphaelite [oh to be one ], david lynch, naum gabo, gustav klimt, richard deacon, salvador dali....and many more.

...So if there is a Transvestite Artist pigeon hole, I'll jump right into it...
